How do you get a smell out of a room?? - adding a room onto a trailer

My mother has bought a new house and we moved into a room that we have the sun, and it feels like a trailer. This is a period house. How is the smell? We have tried to smell the air and stuff and still fresh. Ideas? Thank you!
